eBay Consignment Sales Guidelines
Policies regarding eBay consignment sales.
- Items
must be valued above $20.00 to be eligible for consignment sale.
- Items
being sold by us will need to be in our possession prior to
listing with the exception of large items such as autos, large
furniture, small items valued over $5,000.00.
- All
items being sold will be inspected by the Rockport Mail Center
by either bringing them to us or allowing us to come to you.
- A
simple contract between us must be signed prior to listing any
item. This protects
both parties from any misunderstandings about what each party
expects from each other.
- Unsold
items will need to be picked up by you or can be returned to you
at your expense.
- We
reserve the right to refuse for consignment, any item for any
reason.

handle all aspects of the sale from research of your item’s market
value to putting a check in your hand.
- We
pay all up front cost including listing fees, credit card fees
and eBay % of sale. We
do the work of keeping up to date with eBay’s pricing and
requirements for auction sales.

write a detailed and accurate description of your items.

- We
take professional, attractive and attention-getting photographs
of your items, which increases bidding and your profit.
- We
reply to all seller inquires and handle any disputes.
We come to you for answers to questions so you need not
worry about unwanted e-mail or phone call from customers.

pack your items professionally and ship them around the world.
- We
handle payments from buyers including credit card payments and
currency exchange.
We keep your valuable time free so all you need to do is wait for your
check to arrive!
What
does it cost?
- Fees
are based on final gross sales.
- Items
that sell for under $50.00 are subject to a charge of 50% of
sale.
- Items
$50.00 to $500.00, we charge 25% of final sale.
- Items
$599.99 and up, we charge 20% of final sale.
Example: Final sales price = $100.00
Since the sale was between
$50.00 and $500.00, you get $75.00 (75% or $100.00).
Our total fee would be
$25.00 (25% of $100.00).
We pay credit card fees and
eBay % of sale fee which are subtracted from seller’s % of sale.
Our listings include “free
to you: * =no additional cost
- Cost
of item insertion (mandatory for all items on eBay).
- Cost
of Gallery picture (picture displayed beside your listing).
- Cost
of one re-listing of any unsold item.
Extra fees may include:
- Cost
for reserve pricing (Setting minimum required rice for an item).
We do not put a reserve on our auctions unless requested
by you.
- Cost
for starting auction above $0.99.
All our auctions begin at 99 cents unless requested to
start higher by you.
- Cost for listing more than twice for the same item.
